Moore II Come Entertainment Group formed in July 1998 as a music marketing company specializing in marketing Adult Contemporary music. Shortly thereafter, operations were expanded to include marketing project management handling artist branding, music production, resourcing and CRM. Today, the company is focused on a commitment to growth and creating community partnerships while exposing quality music. In the past 12+ years, Moore II Come Entertainment Group has achieved the following milestones:
- Released and successfully marketed two CD projects (Moment of Truth ©2002 and Doing Just Fine ©2005) which are distributed via online retailers Cdbaby and Itunes, and over 2500 additional retailers
- Received radio airplay in 5 markets (Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, Nassau, Bahamas, Huntsville, Alabama and Las Vegas, Nevada)
- Licensed video for airplay on Centric® (formerly BETJ®) a digital cable television network
- Booked appearances on U.S morning news program (Fox 45 Baltimore)
- Secured opening act performances for: Kem, Najee, Will Downing, Tony Terry, Pieces of A Dream, Ledisi, Allyson Williams, Marcus Johnson, Melba Moore, Sylena Johnson and the late Stanley Turrentine
- Secured articles in three U.S. print publications (Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun, Washington Times) and one U.K. print publication (SoulXpress)
- Received a nomination for “Best Urban Contemporary Vocalist” from the Washington Area Music Association
- Established membership in Washington, DC chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences
- Licensed three songs to up and coming author Monda Webb’s novel (7:30 am)
- Licensed one song to Groove Records for a soul compilation (NeoSoul United vol.1)
